And just who are those “Crafty Ol’ Broads”?
Sisters Jane Wells and Linda Johnson are award winning quilters who love every aspect of quilting, and just happen to be old, broad, and crafty. We started designing our own patterns in 2001, dreaming up new patterns while non-quilters were sleeping. We then started the Crafty Ol’ Broad pattern company.
In 2005 we began teaching and lecturing as a team. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and love of quilting through our many classes and lectures where we introduce quilters of all levels to our unique patterns and quilting style.
Our quilts have placed well in shows and contests both locally and nationally where we have been published by The Museum of American Quilters Society in a couple international “New Quilts from an Old Favorite” contests. Our 1st book, Beyond the Block, published by AQS has been a joy and we are currently (& busily) working on our second book, Quilts Your Grandkids Can Cuddle In. Life is good!
